Old long hook-shaped Hmong silver ear ornaments
Silver ear ornaments from the Hmong people, SW China.
High-grade silver (tested as +800) finely etched.
Women wear these ornaments horizontally, attached to their chignons; the studs are worn in the ear lobe as shown in the photographic documents of the Musée de l’Homme, dated 1920.
The earrings are 22,5 cm long (8,86 in). Both of them weigh 80 gr.
