Old silver Amazigh/Berber fibulas linked by a chain with a central egg-shaped “tagemout” worked in filigree. Remains of old blue enamel.
Material: high grade silver, enamel, glass.
This kind of fibulas was used in the Sous region in Southern Anti-Atlas. The holes were formed by smithing little rings which are all attached to each other. According to Marie-Rose Rabaté, such work was abandoned more than a century ago.
