Old solid silver tribal anklet, from Gujarat, called “Sankal”, India. It is made of solid high-grade silver. They are worn in pairs, one on each ankle.
Can be easily fastened with a screw pin. The back of the clasp (the side in contact with the skin) has some etched letters.
From the end of XIXth or beginning of XXth Century.

The Inner perimeter is 18 cm – 7,08 in. The Inner diameter is around 6 cm – 2,36 in; is 4,2 cm wide (1,77 in).
