Himachal Pradesh necklace, India
Himachal Pradesh silver necklace with a central rupee coin dated in 1918 and several pendants on each side that represent the fragant buds of the champa flower, given as an offering to Shiva and other deities.
The string is the original one, it hasn’t been replaced.
From the first half of the XXth Century.
The length of this necklace is 56 cm long. The rupee coins measure 3 cm – diameter.
Weight: 117,6 gr.
