Antique Wollo silver wedding necklace, Ethiopia
Antique Ethiopian Wollo Wedding necklace.
It still keeps the original string and glass beads with all the silver bells intact.
These necklaces are not so easy to find, mostly they have been made up of several necklaces and often the bells are missing or made of nickel.
Good silver content, probably around 600-700/1000 (not tested)
From around 1930 or earlier, collected in place by the previous owner in the 70’s.
