Amazigh necklace, Morocco

Berber/Amazigh necklace, most probably from the Draa valley although regional styles along the length of the river slightly differ. Original composition and string. The coral branches hanging from the central pendant might be a later addition.

Coral, amber, amazonite, agate, shells, glass and low-grade silver.

This kind of necklaces are strung and re-strung often by the women who wear them, but most of the beads and pieces of this necklace are worn and quite old.
