Forehead ornament, West Sumba, Indonesia
This head ornament called lamba is attached to a head cloth and worn on the forehead by aristocratic men at ritual celebrations and dances.
Made of gilded brass, maybe some gold in small proportion. Chased decoration of dots, plants and flowers.
