Herat amulet silver necklace, Afghanistan

A thick and fine example of this kind of amulets from Herat, in Afghanistan. They usually show on the front side some etchings with magical letters and numbers, which were never there on this case or have been worn out. It keeps the original chain, made of double rings.

High-grade silver.
