Gujarat gold pendant, India

Granulated gold amulet-pendant from Kodhi Village, Kachchh, Gujarat, worn as a central pendant on a traditional silver necklace, usually flanked by two gold beads.

Simbolysing the spirit of the Mother Goddess, represented only by her breasts, the necklace is worn by Dhebar Rabari women and others.

From the 1st half of the 20th century or earlier.
