Bronze and glass beads necklace, Nagaland, India
Big blue glass beads and bronze bells necklace from the Naga people inhabiting the region of Nagaland, in NE India and NW of Myanmar. The use of blue beads, although not totally alien for Naga adornments, it is not so common as the yellow and orange barrel beads.
From 1st half XXth c.
As the Nagas possessed no glass-making technology, these beads were traded.

bells: 5 cm long (1,97 in)
Diameter of blue beads: 18 mm (0,71 in)
It weighs 365 gr.
