14-strand necklace of red-orange Naga beads, still in its original stringing of natural fibers. Used as a symbol of status inside the tribe. Glass beads are also an important item in every woman’s dowry.

As the Nagas possessed no glass-making technology, these beads were traded.
The strands are approx. 58 cm long (22,83 in), and the average size of the cylindrical beads is 8 mm (0,27 to 0,43 in).
