Old rigic silver torque called Warla, India
Old silver Rajasthan torque called Warla or warlo, from India. It is decorated wrapping silver wire on a hollow base.This kind of neck rings can be found both in Rajasthan and Gujarat.
Silver content is good, with great patina (tested with acid).
Some historians believe that these torques were an influence of Alexander The Great, when he crossed and conquered this area in IVth Century BC.

The central medallion where the two hooks meet is 35 mm
It weights 255 gr.
