Old Shivaite bronze amulet pendant, India

Antique tribal old bronze Shivaite amulet from Rajasthan, Northern India.

This sort of pendant was hung inside Hindu temples until a religious celebration was on when the pendant was placed on a cow before going on a procession.

First half of the 20th century.

It was made by the lost wax technique and it depicts a yoni and lingam.
