Pair of old Hill tribe silver bracelets, Golden triangle
Pair of old silver cuff bracelets that were made by Hill Tribe silversmiths in the Golden Triangle, at the border of Laos, Thailand and Myanmar.
High-grade silver.
Hollow silver bracelets like this one, plain or with engraved designs were mostly made by Shan or Chinese silversmiths, and in Thailand are worn primarily by Lahu and Akha men.
From the 1st half of the XXth Century.
The inside longer size is about 5 cm (1,97 in) and the bracelets are 2 cm thick (0,79 in). The opening is 2 cm wide (0,79 in).
They weigh together 65 gr.
