Silver bracelet, Yemen

Old Silver bracelet from Sanaa, Yemen, with delicate and detailed filigree decoration. It bears a hallmark, which probably indicates the name of the silversmith.

On the wedding night, the Jewish bride wears different pairs of bracelets in a specific order, like this one.

From the 19th century or beginning of the XXth Century.

High-grade silver (+800), tested.

It opens with a screw-type pin, which doesn’t look original but works very well.
