Sudan ivory bracelet, East Africa
An old ivory bangle that has darkened to a honey-colored shade (ivory naturally darkens with time). In a style common to Ethiopia and Sudan. The bangle has a smooth surface with a broad, rounded central ridge, but without significantly raised edges.
Between the 19th century and the first third of the 20th century.

Inner diameter: 5,7 cm
The object has been examined by an ivory appraiser and has a certificate stating that the ivory predates 1947.
