Turkoman pectoral ornament, Central Asia

Big gilded silver pectoral “gonzuk” from the Tekke tribe, a subgroup of the Turkoman people inhabiting Central Asia.

Made of silver and carnelians in cabochon cut.

First half of XXth century or earlier.
